Consolidated Cable and Harness, Inc., grew out of the need for modular connectivity of field equipment electrical termination at the panel. CC&H's progenitor, Absolute Automation, recognized this niche market when installing custom control panels, both for test and in the field. The advantages of modular connectivity are that there aren't thousands of wires to move around when testing, installing or moving or modifying field equipment, from motors to solenoids. Instead, we create a harness and connectors that give the greatest advantage: just plug the modular connectors in at the factory and your field terminations are complete. This eliminates redundant termination and testing and ensures proper connectivity, safeguarding equipment and panels. Cables for panels are one part of what we do. OEM harnesses are another, allowing the OEMs to give the same added-value to their customers. PRINCIPALS Don Lavrenz, President, minds the engineering team at Consolidated Cable & Harness, Inc.
